Northeast Territory Account Coordinator

The Northeast Territory Account Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining product placements and education with in the assigned territory. Must be self- motivated and driven to increase revenue by developing existing accounts and/or cold calling. Position requires daily travel within sales territory; 30% overnight travel. Prior sales experience in the aquarium / pet industry is preferred.


  • Develops business with existing and new accounts in territory.

  • Focus on dealers accounts to drive revenue through distribution

  • Works with programs at established distribution partners

  • Provides detailed and accurate sales data.

  • Compiles information and data related to sales, potential issues, and new business.

  • Create and execute product promotions to drive sales

  • Travels for in-person meetings with customers to develop key relationship, educating employees and monitoring trends.

  • Attends trade shows.

  • Develops and nurtures strong customer contacts and positive relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities

  • Performs other duties as necessary


  • Bachelor’s degree and or 3 years outside sales experience (pet industry / aquarium preferred)

  • Microsoft Office, SAP

  • Demonstrated problem analysis and problem-solving ability

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
