The Northeast Territory Account Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining product placements and education with in the assigned territory. Must be self- motivated and driven to increase revenue by developing existing accounts and/or cold calling. Position requires daily travel within sales territory; 30% overnight travel. Prior sales experience in the aquarium / pet industry is preferred.
Develops business with existing and new accounts in territory.
Focus on dealers accounts to drive revenue through distribution
Works with programs at established distribution partners
Provides detailed and accurate sales data.
Compiles information and data related to sales, potential issues, and new business.
Create and execute product promotions to drive sales
Travels for in-person meetings with customers to develop key relationship, educating employees and monitoring trends.
Attends trade shows.
Develops and nurtures strong customer contacts and positive relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
Performs other duties as necessary
Bachelor’s degree and or 3 years outside sales experience (pet industry / aquarium preferred)
Microsoft Office, SAP
Demonstrated problem analysis and problem-solving ability
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
